What type of eye surgery would work for me?
I have an approx. -19 correction for both eyes. I have an astigmatism. I also have a possibility of getting glaucoma.
I have talked to my Dr. and he said that Lasik surgery would not be an option for me. What other surgeries could fix my eyes?
Answer: um...not a great candidate for anything.
but lasik/PRK definitely wont work. if you have any refractive surgery, then a "phakic iol" is probably your best option. but the glaucoma (or "possible glaucoma" may keep you out of that as well.
